Curiosity Monster is a platform where people can ignite their raw human curiosity about the world through stunning, interactive visualizations.

Curiosity Monster gives people a beautiful place where they can feed their raw human curiosity in an uncontrolled way by going through interactive and engaging infographics that cover a series of different subjects such as culture, history, humans, life & the universe.
By providing a unified visual language, along with a mascot that will guide the user through the content and making the overall narrative playful, optimistic, and humble we aim to make the experience immersive and beautiful, while still being able to upgrade the worldview of our users by providing fact-based and high quality content.
A dynamic timeline featuring various painters, allowing users to seamlessly zoom in or out for a detailed or panoramic view. Additionally, the timeline can be refined through customizable filters, providing a personalized and focused exploration of artistic contributions over time.
For each artist, we have a custom illustrated character that embodies the visual language of our creatures, adding a playful and unique touch to their presence.

By selecting an artist a concise biography is displayed, as well as the artistic movement to which they belong. By clicking on a movement, we return to the timeline to see filtered results that show the selected movement (e.g. Surrealism).
The biography includes listed years of the artist's life with indications of significant events. Clicking on a year expands the content, allowing users to learn more about the events. Filters are an essential part of the platform, so in this example, if our user is not interested in all life events but rather wants to focus solely on painting, they can do so by selecting that option in the top bar.
Curiosity Monster's landing page explains how it works, informs about the latest and upcoming episodes and takes us directly to the timeline. It features both light and dark theme displays. Light and dark themes are displayed below.
Our goal is to make the user experience not only user-friendly but also engaging, providing entertainment while imparting knowledge. To achieve this, we have introduced new styles, allowing users to choose between Jungle, Balearic, Rave, Hippie, and Pastel themes based on their preferences.
Choosing a theme
Our small startup is made up of three members: Filip Jovakarić as the founder, Bojana Rakić is in charge of our goofy illustrations, and Marija Đurđević for product design.
